Current Scholarship

There will be a minimum of three $1,000 scholarships awarded to graduating seniors within Humboldt County.

About

This fund was established in 2016 by the California Cancer Crusher non-profit organization in memory and support of loved ones that have suffered from cancer. There will be three $1,000 scholarships awarded to graduating seniors within Humboldt County.

Eligibility

  • Applicant’s life has been affected by cancer
  • Applicant will graduate from a high school in Humboldt County in the Spring of 2024
  • Applicant has an overall high school GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Will be attending a four-year college, junior college or vocational institution in the Fall of 2024

Requirements

  1. Completed Application Form (Download PDF Document)
  2. An official high school transcript
  3. Personal statement (1 to 2 pages typed) describing how cancer has affected your life and how you see it affecting your future
  4. Two letters of recommendation
