This fund was established in 2016 by the California Cancer Crusher non-profit organization in memory and support of loved ones whose lives have been affected by cancer. There will be multiple scholarships, up to $1000, awarded to graduating high school seniors within Humboldt County.

Requirements

Personal statement (1 to 2 pages typed) describing how cancer has affected your life and how you see it affecting your future
Two letters of recommendation

Eligibility

Applicant’s life has been affected by cancer
Applicant will graduate from a high school in Humboldt County in the Spring of 2025
Applicant has an overall high school GPA of 3.0 or better
Will be attending a four-year college, junior college or vocational institution in the Fall of 2025
